RADIANT PIs appointed to prestigious editorial boards
RADIANT is proud to announce that two of its Principal Investigators (PIs) have been invited to serve on the editorial boards of leading scientific journals in nanoscience and energy research.
The RADIANT consortium is delighted to congratulate Assistant Professor Dmitry Baranov from Lund University and Principal Investigator Lakshminarayana Polavarapu from the University of Vigo on their recent appointments to highly regarded editorial positions.
Assistant Professor Baranov, who received the ERC Starting Grant in 2021, has been selected for the Early Career Board (ECB) of Nano Letters, a flagship journal in nanoscience and nanotechnology. The ECB was created to connect with early-career researchers and ensure the journal stays at the forefront of emerging themes. Today, it also helps promote Nano Letters to new audiences, commission articles, provide peer-review, and represent the journal at conferences worldwide.
Meanwhile, PI Polavarapu, a leading expert in halide perovskite nanocrystals, has been appointed Topic Editor at ACS Energy Letters, a leading journal reporting breakthroughs in energy materials, solar cells and fuels, supercapacitors, LEDs, biofuels, and other energy-related technologies.
These appointments reflect the excellence and leadership of RADIANT’s PIs in their fields. We warmly congratulate Baranov and Polavarapu on these achievements and look forward to the impact of their contributions on the scientific community!
