We are RADIANT—a kick-start for a new EIC Pathfinder Challenges project
The project focuses on the integration of chirality into three emerging LED technologies. The RADIANT consortium gathered for a kick-off meeting in October 2024 to officially launch the project.
RADIANT is a research project funded by the European Innovation Council (EIC)‘s Pathfinder Challenges 2023 programme. It aims to relieve the environmental burden of LED technology while also improving its competitiveness.
The RADIANT consortium gathered together for the first time for an online kick-off meeting on October 23rd, 2024, to discuss the objectives and tasks of the project. The official start of the three-year-long project took place at the beginning of November.
The RADIANT team brings together state-of-the-art expertise in different fields, ranging from photonics, chemistry, and device fabrication to technology transfer, exploitation, science communication and dissemination.
The consortium is formed by six partners from three European countries: the Institute of Materials Science of Barcelona (ICMAB-CSIC), the University of Vigo (UVIGO), the University of Valencia (UVEG), Jaume I University (UJI) and Zirka InnoTech (ZKI) from Spain, Lund University (LUND) from Sweden, and the Istituto Italiano di Tecnologia (IIT) from Italy.
